SARASOTA,FL (WWSB) – Exactly 2,977 flags were placed in the courtyard of USF Sarasota-Manatee on Tuesday in honor of the lives lost 17 years ago today.
The campus held a ceremony in remembrance of September 11, a tragic terrorist attack that shook our country and brings back unforgettable memories of that day for many Americans.
David Kotok of Cumberland Advisors in Sarasota spoke at the ceremony. He was in the south tower of World Trade Center for a conference with a group of other economists that day.
