David E. Sparks

Mr. Sparks is Chairman of the Board of Directors and has served on the Board since 2018.  His association with Cumberland goes back more than 20 years.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc., Harrisburg, PA.  Previously, he was the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Millennium Bank in Malvern, PA, which was sold in 2004. He then founded First Priority Bank in 2005 and served as Chairman and CEO of the bank as well as First Priority Financial Corp. He has over 40 years of bank management experience with an emphasis on finance and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. Mr. Sparks is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, SC, and attended Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program in Boston, MA.
