Daisy Lopez
Executive Vice President of Operations
Daisy Lopez is Executive Vice President of Operations for Cumberland Advisors and a member of Cumberland’s Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Daisy is directly responsible for all back-office operations, including direct communications with the various custodians and brokerage firms.
Daisy joined Cumberland Advisors in 1980. From her first position as trading clerk, she became involved and proficient in every aspect of Cumberland Advisors’ operations. She was instrumental in converting Cumberland’s back-office operations to its modern computerized systems. Daisy attended Cumberland County College in Vineland, New Jersey, where she participated in various women’s leadership programs. For more than 27 years, Daisy served as a leader in her church, holding positions as Treasurer, Choir/Praise and Worship Leader, and President of the Women’s Council of Vineland. When Cumberland relocated to Sarasota in 2010, Daisy helped coordinate the move and relocated along with the firm. Today, she remains active in many church and community activities.
